OLU MAINTAIN AND GBENGA ADEYINKA THE 1ST STORM NMS 2007 HOUSE FOR TGIF

Again, it was Thank God Is Friday (TGIF) at the House of the Next Movie Star, it was an opportunity for the Housemates to catch fun, enjoy and meet another leading Nigerian Musician, having had opportunity of meeting and grooving with the likes of Kanga, Alariwo, Nigga Raw amidst other artistes.

The anchor for the night was no other person, but a leading comedian in Nigeria, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, who treated the housemates to bone cracking jokes, he was a delight to watch and to listen to through out the night. Gbenga assumed the role of the popular voice of Salagashi, threatening house mates of eviction as it has become a tradition that every Thank God Is Friday night, there will be an eviction in the house. The TGIF of the Next Movie Star 2007 is sponsored by Gordon Spark. The housemate looks jittery for the fear of the unknown, who leaves next? This seems to be echoing in their mind.

However, Gbenga took the tension off them when he introduced Olu Maintain as the guest artiste for the night. The Yahoozee crooner became an instant hit as the housemates scramble to hold and hug the handsome looking musician. The tempo of the party immediately changed with Olu taking the stage, doing his hit song (Yahoozee) and doing the Yahoozee special steps to the admiration of the housemates. After that, it was question time, as they asked him so many questions, and he answered them one after the other intelligently.

Robert Bella, the NMS 2007 Hostess, could not hide her feelings of being privilege to have Olu for the TGIF party, she requested specially from Olu, the yet to be officially released 2010 Yahoozee dance. The artiste seems to have more of the crazy steps in his kitty, as he took Bella through the 2010 Yahoozee steps. Other guests for the night includes Porttia Yamahan (2006 Next Movie Star Winner) and Sammy Adewale-Phillips, another 2006 NMS Housemate.

The Next Movie Star is a reality show powered by Haier Thermocool, PZ Cussons (Ghana), Hyra Motors (Makers of Geely),Guinness, Mikano, Teledom, Élan Water, Reckitt Benckiser, Erykah (Professional Make up Artist), and Pagaimoh creations.

On the other hand, while the show was on, the anchor man, Gbenga kept reminding the housemates that two of them have to leave the house that night, mimicking Salagashi’s voice. Amidst tension and fear, Robert Bella announced to the housemates that no eviction for the night, they jumped, screamed and held each other, at least for the night, they can all have sound sleep.

Ameh Lucy on behalf of the house presented Olu with a Haier Thermocool 14 inches TV. Delighted Olu has this to say” I am happy with you guys, and I think you all got the right spirit and attitude to be the Next Movie Star, whatever happens, you are all winners, keep your dream alive, and don’t be distracted”
